This project involved replacing 8 hollow core doors with solid oak six pale doors and trim. The home is a split level floor plan with a short series of stairs going up and one going down. The stairs were carpeted (not shown in photos). The carpet was removed and the stairs were trimmed in oak and 3/4" oak tread boards. A custom handrail was devised to provide stability but remain close to the wall . This update also included retiling the bathroom floor.
